Terms and Conditions for BodyCameraDonations.com for Agencies and Departments

BodyCameraDonations.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides services through its website at bodycameradonations.com, and is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (which may be amended). We reserve the right to change or modify the terms and conditions at any time. If changes are made, we will update the date revised at the top of the page. Your continued use of our services after an updated revised date, constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Description of Services: BodyCameraDonations.com exists to provide law enforcement agencies and fire departments, a platform to receive donations that will be used to purchase WOLFCOM body cameras and accessories. Donations are processed through our website and third party services.

Registration: BodyCameraDonations.com is a platform only for local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and fire departments in the United States to utilize. Registrant must inform their Chief or Supervisor that they have signed up their department or agency for BodyCameraDonations.com. If the registrant does not inform their Chief or Supervisor, that agency or department will be taken off the list and must reapply with consent from their Chief or Supervisor. Individual law enforcement agents/fire fighters and private for-profit security agencies are not eligible.

Registered law enforcement agencies and fire departments agree that the donations received will only apply towards WOLFCOM body cameras and accessories. Registrants also agree that WOLFCOM body cameras and accessories are not transferable nor refundable. If an agency or department, decides to reject donations or withdrawal before using their donations from BodyCameraDonations.com, the donations will go to the general fund and are not allowed to be transferred to another department or agency. If a registered agency or department, wishes to be removed from BodyCameraDonations.com, it must be done so in writing.

Withdrawing Donations: Registered agencies and departments may wish to use their donations when they have enough funds for a WOLFCOM body camera or when they hit their goal target. Please understand that if checks are received for your department, that it takes 30 days to clear and you will not be able to order WOLFCOM body cameras and accessories until that time has passed.

Limitations:  BodyCameraDonations.com only accepts donated funds from the general public therefore; departments and agencies are not permitted to use their own funds to directly purchase WOLFCOM body cameras from BodyCameraDonations.com. If a department or agency wishes to purchase WOLFCOM Body Cameras with their own funding, they may do so through WOLFCOM.

Donation: In order to donate, a donor must sign up on the donate page and provide information regarding credit card information. As a donor, you agree that such information is true and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. You also agree that all donations made by you are final, nonrefundable and nontransferable. If a donation is made to a specific agency, and that agency withdrawals from BodyCameraDonations.com, your donation will go to the general fund. If you would like to donate by check, please write out the check to BodyCameraDonations.com and in the Memo section, please write which department or agency you would like to donate to and send it to 5910 W. Sunset Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028. Please note that it will take 30 days for your check to clear.

Fees: There is no fee for law enforcement agencies and fire departments to register with BodyCameraDonations.com. For donations, the donor will be charged a 10% fee on top of their donation to pay for services provided to the agencies/departments and for third party payment processing fees.

Indemnity and Release: You agree to release, indemnify and hold BodyCameraDonations.com and its affiliates and their officers, employees, directors and agents harmless from any from any and all losses, damages, expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, rights, claims, actions of any kind and injury (including death) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, any donation or registration, any User Content, your connection to the Services, your violation of these Terms and Conditions or your violation of any rights of another. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor.” If you are a resident of another jurisdiction, you waive any comparable statute or doctrine.

Termination: You agree that BodyCameraDonations.com, in its sole discretion, may terminate or suspend your registration at any time and for any reason, including for lack of use or if BodyCameraDonations.com believes you have violated these Terms and Conditions. BodyCameraDonations.com may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Services, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Services under any provision of these Terms and Conditions may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that BodyCameraDonations.com may immediately deactivate or delete your registered account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files or the Services. Further, you agree that BodyCameraDonations.com will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Services.
